Review privacy and data handling

Application information
The application collects your first name, email, public Etsy shop URL, country, selling currency, product type, recent order count, question and data-readiness answers. We use it to assess fit, reply about your application and manage a review. Reply consent applies to this application, rather than marketing. Application records expire 90 days after receipt and are removed by daily cleanup, which may take up to 24 additional hours.
Invited private submissions
After manual fit and readiness confirmation, we may send a private upload invitation. Its access token expires after seven days and can be replaced on request. Anyone holding the link may access that case, so keep it private. The token is used in memory for API authorization and is not saved in browser storage.
Each case accepts up to five files, each up to 1 MiB (1,048,576 bytes), and up to 5 MiB in total. Accepted formats are CSV, XLSX, PDF, PNG and JPEG. We use the supplied records and cost inputs to check completeness and prepare the review. Uploaded file contents are encrypted before storage and available through authenticated service access.
Redact before uploading
Remove buyer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, messages and identifying details. Replace order IDs with neutral labels while retaining sequence and necessary financial fields. Exclude bank statements, account or card details, identity documents, passwords and login information. We do not request access to your Etsy account. Use the blank workbook to prepare a redacted copy.
Access and deletion
The review operator can access application records and decrypt invited files to perform the service. Service infrastructure processes the records to receive, store and delete them. Access to active files expires 30 days after upload, including when a review does not proceed. Daily cleanup may take up to 24 additional hours. Provider backups follow their own retention mechanisms and are not erased immediately with the active copy. You can delete uploaded files from an active portal and request deletion by emailing hi@etsycollege.com. Deleting files may prevent us from completing a review; we will discuss any paid service with you.
Payments and communication
Checkout is currently unavailable. We confirm fit and complete usable inputs before inviting payment. When a payment provider is enabled, its checkout will collect payment details under its own policy. Card details should never be uploaded here. We reply to the email address you provide; email and WhatsApp services apply their own privacy rules. Files should be shared through the invited portal.
Site tools
The freely readable guides and blank downloads remain available without an application. Guide checklists operate on your device. The application and invited portal submit information to the service backend. Essential request and error information may be processed to operate and protect the service. We do not use these form answers to subscribe you to marketing.
