Terms of use & services
These terms explain how you may use the site and how a separate service agreement is made. Read the written quotation and specific conditions before authorising work.

Website use and service agreements
EtsyCollege provides freely readable guides for opening and operating an Etsy shop, alongside purchasing assistance, consolidation and logistics services available by individual agreement. The website is intended for people preparing or running a business. You must have authority to make an enquiry or commission work on behalf of your business.
Reading a guide, using a calculator, downloading a worksheet or contacting us does not place a purchase or shipping order. A service begins only after the contracting provider, scope, costs and required authorisation have been confirmed in writing. Contact: hi@etsycollege.com.
Guides, tools and your decisions
Content is general educational information. Examples may use hypothetical figures and incomplete assumptions. Calculators perform the calculations described on their page; they do not verify supplier prices, current Etsy fees, tax, product eligibility or carrier charges.
You remain responsible for product suitability, marketplace compliance, listings, business decisions and checking current official requirements. We do not promise sales, profit, rankings, marketplace acceptance or supplier performance.
Scope, quotations and acceptance
A quotation should specify the stages you commission: purchasing assistance, sample coordination, receiving, counting, agreed checks, repacking, consolidation or dispatch. Only included stages are authorised. Agree receiving arrangements before sending consolidation-only goods.
Confirm item links or specifications, quantities, destination, sample decisions and any packaging or handling requirements. A sample approval applies to the agreed sample and criteria; it does not establish that every production unit has been tested.
Availability, quote validity, currency, payment stages and any change requiring renewed authorisation are determined in the written quotation. An enquiry or estimate does not by itself reserve goods, capacity or a shipping rate.
Charges and shipping estimates
Check which amounts cover goods, domestic delivery, service work, packing and international transport, and which are estimates or depend on final packing. Service fees, exchange-rate treatment, insurance and any taxes must be stated or clarified before acceptance.
Carrier billing may use actual or volumetric weight, rounding, minimums and whole-shipment rules. A website weight example is illustrative. Import duties, destination taxes, clearance and local delivery charges may be payable separately; confirm the payer and applicable delivery responsibilities in the quotation.
Receiving, checks and product issues
Parcel arrival, quantity counting, visual checks, functional testing and certification are different activities. Only the checks expressly agreed are included. Ordinary receiving or photographs do not certify authenticity, safety, quality or regulatory compliance.
Report shortages, damage or specification concerns promptly with the relevant order or parcel details and useful evidence. Where practical, retain packaging and avoid further use until next steps are agreed. Supplier returns, replacements and carrier claims depend on the applicable agreement, evidence and mandatory rights.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
Ask for a change or cancellation as soon as possible. We must confirm whether it can be made before you rely on it. Purchases already placed, custom work, packing already performed and transport already booked can involve commitments to third parties.
The quotation should explain cancellation, return and refund conditions, including how work already done, committed costs and recoverable supplier or carrier refunds are handled. No universal cancellation fee, return right or refund exclusion is created by this website. Any statutory withdrawal or other mandatory remedy remains available where applicable.
Goods, customs and delivery
Provide accurate descriptions, values, quantities, destination and recipient details. Confirm who is responsible for export and import formalities, product documentation, duties and delivery before dispatch. Do not request false declarations, undervaluation or evasion of restrictions.
Illegal, counterfeit, infringing and prohibited goods are not accepted. Restricted, dangerous, fragile, oversized or specially regulated items require an explicit suitability and handling check before purchase or shipment. A consultation does not confirm that an item or destination is supported.
Processing time, dispatch and carrier transit are separate stages. Customs checks, carrier events and third-party delays may affect delivery. Any estimate, insurance, loss procedure and delivery commitment must be confirmed for the particular shipment.
Permitted use and intellectual property
You may read the site and use its downloadable worksheets for your own business planning. Rights in original text, design and materials remain with their owners. This permission does not allow you to resell or republish the website or imply endorsement; third-party materials keep their own licence conditions.
Share only content and records you are entitled to provide. Do not misuse private links, access another case, disrupt the site, submit malware or use the service for unlawful activity. Keep account credentials and buyer identities out of enquiries and review uploads.
Third parties and independent status
EtsyCollege is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Inc. Etsy, 1688, suppliers, carriers, payment services and linked websites have their own rules and responsibilities. Links and sourcing directions do not guarantee their availability or performance.
Purchasing or logistics assistance does not replace your assessment of intellectual-property rights, product safety or whether your creative role and product meet Etsy’s current rules.
Responsibility and mandatory rights
We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every general example suits your situation. Tell us about a material error so it can be investigated. Responsibility for commissioned work and any available remedy are assessed under the accepted agreement and applicable law.
These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, or restrict mandatory consumer, data-protection or other statutory rights. They impose no blanket liability cap or requirement to waive those rights. Contact hi@etsycollege.com first so a concern can be examined; this does not prevent you from using a competent authority or court.
Separate Order Margin Review terms
The optional English Order Margin Review on EtsyCollege has its own terms and privacy notice. Those specific documents take precedence for that review if they differ from these general terms. Its application and upload process does not create a paid order; checkout is currently unavailable.
Updates and contact
The date above identifies this version. Revised website terms apply prospectively; changes to an accepted service agreement require the process in that agreement and applicable law. Send questions, complaints or correction requests to hi@etsycollege.com, identifying the page or service concerned.
