Site information & policies
Cookies & local storage
This policy describes the current implementation. Cookies, local storage, page memory and external services have different functions and controls.
Updated
What the website uses
A cookie is a small value a browser can send with requests to a site. Local storage keeps values in that browser for a particular site. Page memory lasts only while the page is running. Storage rules can apply to technologies other than cookies as well.
The current application does not set its own cookies or install advertising pixels, analytics tracking SDKs or cross-site audience identifiers. This does not mean that the hosting and security infrastructure processes no technical information.
Hosting and security technologies
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Depending on a request and the security features applied, its infrastructure may use technical cookies or similar mechanisms for security or challenge handling. The application does not define a fixed list of those conditional cookies or their lifetime.
A security cookie, if present, must be assessed for its actual purpose. This notice does not classify every possible infrastructure cookie as essential or assert that browsing constitutes consent. The Privacy policy explains technical request information and providers.
EtsyCollege guide checklist storage
Storage type: localStorage on etsycollege.com. Key pattern: etsycollege:<guide-slug>, for example etsycollege:shop-foundations. The part after the colon is the guide’s URL slug. The value is a JSON array of checked item numbers; it does not contain your name, email, shop or order records.
Purpose: remember checklist progress on this browser. A guide reads its existing saved selections when opened and writes the changed selection when you check, uncheck or reset items. Language is not part of the key, so the same guide shares progress across languages on this device. These values are not sent to the team.
Duration and control: there is no automatic expiry set by the application. Reset writes an empty selection array. Use “Clear saved checklists” below to delete the etsycollege: checklist keys for this site, or clear site data for etsycollege.com in your browser. This does not delete downloaded files or submitted service records. If storage is blocked or fails, the checklist can still work on the current page with a saving warning; reading the guide does not require saved progress.
Private review access
The optional Order Margin Review portal uses a private invitation token held in page memory. It does not store the token in localStorage, sessionStorage or an application cookie. The link expires after seven days. Reopen your invitation email after reloading or closing the page, and never share the link publicly.
Calculator values and downloads
Batch-cost, order-pricing and parcel-weight tools keep editable values in page memory. They do not use a cookie or local-storage key to retain your calculations and do not send those inputs to the team. Reloading or closing the page normally clears them.
Copied results and downloaded worksheets are files or clipboard contents on your device. Browser cookie controls do not delete those copies; manage them through your device and the applications you use.
Email, WhatsApp and external links
Email and WhatsApp are links that open the corresponding external service. That service may use its own cookies, storage and account information after you open it. Visiting this website does not embed a WhatsApp conversation or automatically transmit worksheet inputs.
External Etsy, supplier and reference pages have their own policies. Manage their cookies and privacy settings on those services.
Managing browser storage
Use your browser’s site-data settings to inspect or delete cookies and local storage for etsycollege.com. Each domain has separate storage. Private browsing and browser settings may restrict storage; clearing it can reset saved functions or require another security check.
No advertising or analytics consent banner is shown for a tracking integration that is absent from the current application. If a future feature requires consent, it must obtain the relevant choice before that technology is used. Browser settings alone do not replace a consent requirement where one applies.
